Girls Soccer
The Girls Varsity Soccer team is heating up at the perfect time. The Blazers finished the regular season 6-2-1 in one of Washington’s most competitive leagues, earning a #7 state ranking and a home playoff opener against South Whidbey on Tuesday.

With a rock-solid back line, dynamic midfield, and dangerous attack, this group has all the tools to make a serious run. From the Emerald Sound Conference Tournament, only three teams will advance to state, and the field is loaded with top programs with the Blazers right in the mix. Expect intensity, grit, and plenty of Blazer pride as the team kicks off its postseason campaign.

Girls Volleyball
It has been a season of resilience for the Blazers Volleyball team. After opening the season with two big wins – including a five-set thriller at U Prep – the team hit a mid-season rough patch, dropping six straight. But true to Blazer spirit, they have bounced back at just the right time.

A crucial 3-0 road win at Overlake reignited their momentum leading up to tonight’s Senior Night against South Whidbey. The squad is now focused on making noise in the upcoming Emerald Sound Playoffs, with matchups to be finalized next week.

Cross Country
The Cross Country season included a number of highly competitive conference meets and invites. All season long, the athletes were disciplined, working hard at improving their times resulting in new PRs being set every week.

The team’s regular season ended yesterday at the Emerald Sound Conference Championships, with several standout performances leading the way. Ryan E. ’27 clocked a blazing 19:10.30, finishing second overall, while Isabelle O. ’27 placed 13th among a deep field. On the boys side, Kai A. ’26 and Luke M. ’28 crossed the line back-to-back in 9th and 10th, respectively. After the championship meet, the team took a moment to honor senior captain Kai A. ’26, whose leadership, consistency, and mentorship have been the heartbeat of the Blazers’ season.

The team now prepares for the District Championships next Saturday at South Whidbey, where top finishers will advance to State in Pasco.

Boys Tennis
The Boys Tennis team closed out its season at the Emerald Sound Conference Tournament, capping off a remarkable year of growth and grit. Entering the season as a bit of a wildcard, the young Blazers quickly proved they belonged among the conference’s best.

Led by Head Coach Cara Holloway, the team’s commitment and competitive drive became clear early on, highlighted by statement wins over Eastside Prep and a thrilling second-round battle with U Prep. Several Blazers advanced deep into the playoff bracket, and while no one ultimately qualified for state, the team’s collective performance earned them a second-place regular season finish – an impressive accomplishment and a sign of what’s to come.
Boys Golf
The regular season for Boys Varsity Golf has officially wrapped – and it was historic. The Blazers fielded the largest team in school history with 20 players and backed up the size with serious results, finishing conference play with a dominant 7-1 record.

From start to finish, the team delivered highlight-reel performances. Aydin M. ’29 and Justin C. ’28 captured medalist honors in every single conference match, with Aydin earning WIAA Athlete of the Week recognition and Justin firing an incredible five-under-par 31, setting a new program record. Jonathan H. ’28 and Neil N. ’28 consistently finished in the top four, rounding out one of the strongest lineups in league history.

It was not just the top finishers making noise – ten Blazers qualified for postseason play, another program record. Every player showed measurable growth this season. Congratulations to the entire Boys Golf team and coaching staff on a season for the record books.
Boys Ultimate
The Boys Ultimate team is still in the fight, chasing a spot in the state tournament. The Blazers delivered one of the postseason’s most electric moments with a 9-8 universe-point victory over Overlake in the first round, sealed by Bing K. ’26’s perfect hammer throw to Joseph L. ’29 for the game-winner.

After a hard-fought second-round loss to Eastside Prep, the Blazers now set their sights on a State Play-In Game versus Mercer Island (#6 SPS) on Monday, October 27 at 8:30 p.m. at Bobby Morris Playfield. A win would send the Blazers back to the state tournament for the first time in several years – come out and be loud for the team as they make their push!
